Frequently asked questions. Though we don't get asked them that frequently any more. Because the answers are here :-)
Who is we run 4?
We Run 4 is a small trail running events company run by Simon Lovett, with the sole aim of raising money for the Spinal Injuries Association.
why do you support the spinal injuries association?
On the 2nd January 2010, Simon's wife's family were involved in a road traffic accident in which his father in-law, Colin, sustained a massive spinal trauma leaving him paralysed from the chest down (Paraplegic). After three months in a high dependency unit, Colin was well enough to start rehabilitation at the Prince of Wales Spinal Unit, Odstock, Salisbury. The care and help he received there and from SIA was exceptional and has made life in a wheelchair a little less scary with both physical and emotional support for Colin and all the family.
They help support thousands of people coming to terms with life changing spinal injures and showing them there is life after a spinal cord injury.
Being an enthusiastic trail runner and former tri-athlete, Simon took the decision to draw on his experience in attending events to create We Run 4 with the aim of raising money for the charity that has done so much to support his wife's family.

where can I sign up for the next event?
It's simple- Click or tap on the Register button to view the upcoming events.
What's included in my race entry fee?
You get insurance through SIA, free parking, refreshments (Varies from event to event), friendly faces, beaming smiles and a totally unique medal. Most importantly though, you get to take part in trail runs through some beautiful Wiltshire countryside and happy in the knowledge that 100% of profits from each event go straight to SIA.
What do I need to bring?
Firstly, make sure you've signed up online through the registration link. You'll need to download the insurance waiver from the Register page and bring that along with you too.
Everything else is up to you really. Most of the runs are on compacted trail surfaces, so trail shoes or maybe even road shoes will suffice. We run events no matter what the weather is like on the day, so make sure you wear appropriate kit to keep you warm, healthy and moving forwards. We always have qualified medical staff at each event, but we'd rather not need to use them :-)
Details on water/nutrition stops will be detailed on the event sign-up page, but always plan to fuel yourself.
It's a good idea to join our Facebook page, as we'll be able to put up any last minute hints, tips and notices on there.
